What path brought you to GLBC? “A Friend of mine at NWC who counseled here last year told me to apply at the camp, and God led me to come here. What has God been teaching you recently? “To depend on Him when it Text Box: comes to others, and that I’m not qualified nor capable of influencing others positively without Him.” - Krystal Strickland. “God knows what He has for me, even if I don’t see it yet. Sometimes I wonder what’s going on, but I know that at least God has a plan and it will work out.” - Allie Rolston.
What excites you about working at camp? “Knowing that God is using us to further His kingdom.” - April Thompson. “I love watching God draw my campers closer to Him. It is especially Text Box: exciting to me when they leave the week wanting to spend more time with Him.” - Naomi Wegscheid.
What is your prayer for campers this summer? “Life after camp! It is easy to love, worship, and grow closer to God while at camp, but after camp is a lot tougher. I pray that God brings good Christian role models and mentors into these kids’ lives, helps them get connected with a church, and grow in their relationship post-camp.” - Kaylene Carpenter. “That they would grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” - Kathryn Repsholdt.
